INTERSOS Office Yemen INTERSOS is an independent non-profit humanitarian organization committed to assist the victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts. INTERSOS, in the framework of its activities abroad, is currently selecting candidates for the following position. National Staff Position    Report to:     Project manager/s, Protection Coordinator and Head of Mission Status:     Fulltime Starting date: Immediate   Key responsibilities:  The Livelihood activities Coordinator works under the supervision of the Project Manager/s, Protection Coordinator and Head of Mission and in close cooperation with the Self Reliance & Labour Market Expert and the Vocational Training Tutor Expert. The main duties include all aspects of coordinating, supervising and monitoring the Self Reliance activities of Intersos in Aden – Yemen, with frequent mission to Mukalla and Taiz.  Responsibilities/duties: 1.    Coordinate the Livelihood and Self-Reliance activities for INTERSOS in Aden with frequent missions to Al-Mukalla (Hadramout) and Ta'izz (Tai'zz) - Yemen. 2.    Ensure the proper achievement of the planned targets 3.    Coordinate with institutions, Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Governorates and local authorities for obtaining the needed authorizations and agreements 4.    Coordinate the activities of the Self Reliance & Labour Market Expert and the Vocational Training Tutor Expert.  5.    Ensure the coordination among the team in the field and the Project Manager/s in Aden. 6.    Share information among the team and promote communication. 7.    Participate in technical and operational decisions in close cooperation with the Project Manager/s. 8.    Follow up the teams work and evaluate performances and competencies. 9.    Prepare regular reports in close coordination with Project Manager/s. 10.    Together with the Head of Mission undertake any activity related to the development of the program. 11.    Collect all information from local and international NGOs, UN agencies and local authorities. 12.    Any other task not here listed and necessary to the project and the activities. Job requirements •    Bachelor degree  •    Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is a MUST •    Demonstrated experience in working with Microsoft Office programs •    Prior experience in technical education and vocational training programs   •    Prior experience in coordinating position in INGO will considered a plus •    Understanding of refugees context and setting •    High motivation and hard worker •    Team player •    Good planning and time management, respecting deadlines   Application Process: Please send CV and Motivation letter to [email protected], mentioning clearly the position in the subject of the e-mail.  closure @ 7 PM, 30/11/2013 Interviews will be conducted on 02/12/2013 in Aden.
