A company is currently seeking to fill the open position of Tendering Manager who is looking for a great opportunity to work and grow with a reputable corporation. We are the elite sales and service provider of power solutions and power equipment. We offer extensive product, service training, competitive compensation and a positive working environment. We're headquartered in Sana’a with many branches in Sana’a and Hodiedah. This position reports to CEO. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.    Identifying strategies and preparing a tender plan to ensure all tenders and bids are acted upon within strict deadlines.  2.    Developing and issuing operational guidelines and documentation to support management of complex tenders, ensuring all key internal stakeholders are briefed on tender requirements.  3.    Coordinating and managing tender activities across the business; issuing tender notification packages and ensuring required documentation is returned from internal stakeholders within specified deadlines.  4.    Monitoring tender responses from contributors, ensuring high quality information is received for inclusion in tender document, promptly escalating any quality or integrity issues identified.  5.    Managing production of tender documentation, reviewing to ensure a high level of accuracy and completion prior to timely submission. 6.    Driving tender to successful closure, consistently delivering high impact solutions to maximize long term profitability of the contract. 7.    Managing customer relationships throughout the tender process, ensuring a high level of customer care is maintained throughout. 8.    Creating tender documentation template and managing the tender documents database.  9.    Other tasks, as may be assigned.  QUALIFICATIONS 1.    BS/BA Degree in Business or equivalent. 2.    2. 3-4 years’ Experience of competitive tendering for public sector contracts and related contract negotiations. 3.    A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained within a tender management position or similar.  4.    Experience of working on complex deals and the tender process.  5.    Experience in the electrical products or similar industry preferred. 6.    Extensive negotiation, influencing and decision making skills.  7.    Strong organizational and time management skills required.  8.    Possessing excellent communication skills. 9.    Familiarity with Incoterms 2000.  10.    Able to identify opportunities for further business development.  11.    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. 12.    Ability to multi task, working on several projects at any one time. 13.    Proactive, sincere & loyal. 14.    Excellent speaking, writing English  15.    Maintaining high level of confidentiality, as the position is a sensitive one. 16.    Prossessing excellent skills in managing documents and filing system. 17.    Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet sales orders, tenders orders and deadlines, and manage priorities. 18.    Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely  decisions. 19.    Computer literacy and familiarity with the internet required. 20.    Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods to meet strict deadlines. 21.    Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.  Application Process: A completed application along with your resume and letter of interest should be send by fax +967 1 450561, or by email at: [email protected] not later than 31st Dec. 2013  .
