The Open Society Foundations, Arab Regional Office in Jordan seeks the recruitment of a The Open Society Foundations works to build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens. The Open Society Foundations Arab Regional Office (ARO) supports a diverse group of civil society organizations, research centers, universities, and media organizations across the Arab world in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Tunisia, and Yemen. Reporting to ARO Director in Amman, Jordan, the Policy and Advocacy Officer will develop and oversee implementation of a policy and advocacy strategy to support the work and aspirations of the regions civil society and serve as AROs expert on a broad range of policy issues and work with or create coalitions to develop and implement advocacy strategies, produce briefing materials and reports, engage with the media and be a liaison with other offices within OSF working on similar issues.
