Position is open for The Quality Assurance Manager who is responsible for ensuring compliance to the company policies, processes, instructions included within the quality management system while ensuring the delivery of high quality products which meets internal quality criteria as well as customer contractual requirements. As a member of the project core team, working in synchronization with the Project manager, but in total independence reporting to the Middle East Quality Direction, as well as functionally on the appropriate head of BL quality department; ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that the Solution delivered to the Customer comply with both Customer and Thales requirements and with the applicable standards and regulations, with the required level of Quality,
• Analyse Customer and Thales Quality requirements, define and implement the Quality Plan,
- Evaluating the requirements of a Contract and to identify the tailoring of the project process baseline, including mandatory gate checklists to be performed.
- Support and verify tailoring activities and their result in the relevant existing documentation,
- Supporting the Program Manager, System Engineering Manager and core bid/project team in tailoring and applying processes.
- Verify the process implementation
• Ensure that the Quality Plan covers the overall necessary arrangements to comply with standards, regulations and laws, in particular for Environment, Health and Safety matters,
- Writing and executing the project quality assurance plan.
- Establishing the quality objectives/criteria for each of the project gates.
• Lead the Quality Assurance activities including supplier quality Assurance to ensure the Solution is in line with Customer expectations, contractual requirements, quality standards and with the risks mitigation objectives,
• Supply the data resulting from audits, return and customer complaints, alert and veto right, to ensure the reporting, to prevent the risks,
• Approve or make sure of the formal approval of the conformity of products and to be in charge of the follow-up of the complaints of the customers,
• Contribute as required to project reviews,
- Evaluating the products (documentation, software and hardware) to be delivered by ensuring product conformity throughout the development, including the execution of agreed tests.
- Raising alerts and ensuring corrective actions are in place by working with the Project Manager or relevant stakeholders.
• Build and sustain relationship and network communication with the potential other QAM involved in this project in other Thales Units.
• On demand from the Customer or its delegates, listen to customer requests and concerns and report these concerns through the right paths within Thales
• Representing the Company in all quality assurance activities of interest to the Customer.

• Contributing to the ISO Audit plan as well as evidence collection/verification of artefacts used in CMMI appraisals as required.
• Manage QA/QC at projects and programme from startup through to testing and commissioning and handing-over to clients and during warranty phase
1- Develop and implement Internal Audits to ensure compliance to deployed Processes and Procedures.
2- Monitor KPI's as per the company requirements and advise on potential improvements.
3- Maintain ISO9001 certification.
4- Attend various reviews and in process reviews as a representative of the QA/QC and provide decisions as applicable in each review.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
You should have:
• 15 years experiences on similar projects
• 7 years experiences of running Quality teams on large multi-discipline and entities projects
• Airport experience
QUALIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field
• Team leadership

• Demonstrated ability in applying quality assurance principles in delivery of products and services
• Auditing experience and exposure to ISO 9001:2008
• Knowing and understanding of Chorus 2
• 5 years as a Quality Manager in Middle East area will be a real plus
• Experience in Airport project
• Qualifications in Quality Management and ISO9001 auditing (lead Auditor Certified).
