Hanwha Group’s global network of affiliates includes companies in different sectors such as manufacturing & construction, hospitality service and finance. SnP was established to serve as Hanwha Group’s business headquarters in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Utilizing Hanwha Group’s global networks, SnP is creating business opportunities by trading numerous items from various industries. This includes petrochemical and chemical products manufactured by other Hanwha affiliate companies, such as Hanwha Chemicals and YNCC, and other major manufacturers. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(May perform other duties as assigned) - Understand rules and conditions of the general trading field. - Issuing invoice or price indication to customers. - Searching for inquiry or demand for petrochemical products in GCC / African market. - Searching for and analyzing competitor’s information. - Review, arrange and manage letter of credit with banks. - Provide weekly progress report and monthly market research on the petrochemical industry to the Team Leader. - Conduct market/sales research and produce quarterly and annual sales projections. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS - Bachelor’s or higher degree in fields related to petrochemicals or business - Minimum 3 years’ experience in the petrochemical trading field - Experience working in a Korean or other trading company is highly preferred - Highly knowledgeable in petrochemical and/or chemical trading field - Efficient in issuing & reviewing shipping documents for negotiation on letter of credit with banks - Excellent English communication skills both speaking and writing to deal effectively with customers and colleagues. - Must work well as a team member with good interpersonal skills and high level of integrity - Capability of multitasking and paying close attention to details - Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment - Other skills: Negotiation,motivation for sales, sales planning, market knowledge and building business relationships Since its establishment in 1962 as part of the Koreas first 5-year Economic Plan, KOTRA has been dedicated to creating new export markets and increasing Koreas trade value, which reached $1 trillion in 2011.
