Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a specialist commissioning firm who are currently involved in a mega building project in Qatar. The client offers a wide range of services including MEP Installation to Hands on Commissioning, Commissioning Management and Verification/Rectification. They operate across all business sectors including Retail, Healthcare and Education. Contact duration will initially be 6 months which may lead into a permanent role. Responsibilities and Major Activities: - Work with the Project Manager and MEP Construction Manager to establish key performance indicators for critical MEP T&C parameters on the project. - Develop systems for reporting to monitor and track MEP T&C technical issues. - Serve as the MEP T&C expert for all matters related to quality assurance and documentation of T&C works. - Acquire a detailed understanding of contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedules to advise the project manager as necessary. - Ensure appropriate usage and application of the Project Management System (PMS) with respect to entry and analysis of work related data. - Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment and the review and approval process for all mechanical and technical submittals.
