My client is a leading contractor who specialise in the construction of major projects including civil, buildings, infrastructure and oil and gas. They are currently working on a number of oil and gas projects in the Jizan area of Saudi Arabia and are looking to recruit two senior quantity surveyors. The role will include assisting in the management of all financial and commercial aspects of the projects including identifying, preparing and negotiation variations. You will also bee responsible for managing a small team of quantity surveyors to assist in the preparation of variation orders. Candidates should have a degree level qualification or similar in quantity surveying and should be able to demonstrate at least 10 years experience of working as a quantity surveyor on large civil engineering projects. Knowledge of oil and gas and petrochem projects is a plus but candidates should have overseas experience and preferably experience gained in the Middle East and Gulf region. Experience of working in camp accommodation and remote locations is a benefit.
