1.0 Position in the organisation Holder of position : TBA Functional area : Protective Coatings - Sales Location : Kuwai Branch Superior : Sales Manager – Protective Coatings Deputy : 2.0 Job Purpose To sell and promote protective coatings - INFRA Concept products through proper sales planning and implementation of marketing/sales strategies with high quality technical service provided to achieve the targeted sales budget, gross margin and payment collection. 3.0 Dimensions Annual Department Sales Budget: KWD Monthly Sales Target: TBA Estimated no. of customers handled: TBA 4.0 Job Responsibilities 4.1 Formal Responsibilities 4.2 Job Results Promote and sell Protective Coatings – INFRA Concept portfolio to customers through frequent visits and responding to inquiries efficiently to achieve targeted sales results, gross margin and collection Promote Protective Coatings products to clients, consultants and decision makers of projects in Kuwait by building up strong customer service relationships and constant follow-up to ensure products are specified Provide quality technical sales service by executing field inspection through supervision of the painting progress to ensure right products and correct usage of the finished coatings to achieve the performance as stated in Jotun’s technical data sheets for optimum results Maintain high levels of service to customers by coordinating with Customer service, Warehouse and other internal departments in regards to deliveries, invoicing and technical service to ensure customers' satisfaction. 5.0 Main tasks • Monitor and advise on painting process and product types to suit the change of the requirement at site • Stop work at site should painters fail to follow specified painting procedure • Visit the field sites on regular basis to ensure situations are under control • Carry out in project inspections prior to commencement of work to ensure surface preparation is suitable for blasting or painting works • Liaise with field site about progress of painting and for schedules of forthcoming projects to ensure that customers are met promptly • Carry out routine checking on supply and apply projects • Promote, quote and sell products to allocated territories and customers. • Follow up customers on proper pricing and customer selection to achieve sales budget, DSO and gross margin.
