The Estimator is responsible for all estimation works in joinery and fit-out works. The estimator must have the foundation knowledge in woods and quantity surveying. The whole project depends on his estimation works. Responsible for estimation process Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues Visiting sites to gather information needed University Qualifications: Bachelors Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in the Middle East with a Joinery Fit-out firm Specialist knowledge: Estimation, Joinery.
