JOB PURPOSE
• To design and review parts of the designs of mechanical systems of building projects in order to meet the requirements of the client and local authorities and to supervise the installation of mechanical systems of building projects in order to ensure they comply with the design requirements
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Design
• Design and review parts of concept and detailed design of HVAC/WS/DR/FF/LPG systems for building projects and recommend changes/enhancements in order to ensure that they comply with design intent, ADCE guidelines, and code requirements
Project Supervision
• Co-ordinate and support ADCE project managers of building projects in order to ensure that mechanical systems are installed as per design and code requirements
Reporting
• Report on status and progress of mechanical systems in building projects to provide the required information to ADCE project managers and to the line manager
Continuous Improvement
• Stay up to date with latest codes, standards and design guidelines to ensure that best practice is being followed and implemented
Research and Data Gathering
• Accumulate data from suppliers and contractors in order to best advise on life cycle costs of building projects

• Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders

• At least 6 years of UAE experience in a design and consulting firm
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a well-recognized university
