The Opportunity This is the perfect role for a multi-faceted, driven Office Manager looking for a new role in Dubai. Our client is a global law firm specialising in Corporate Finance and the tight-knit, fun culture of this firm makes this an opportunity not to be missed! In this role, you will be responsible for managing this small global law office and conduct the following functions: Office Management - Directly supervise office staff and ensure training is adequately undertaken and implementing firm policies; - Assist the Managing Partner with recruitment matters for both legal and support staff; - Manage all HR responsibilities including orientations, arranging visas, and liaising with DIFC; - Liaise with the relevant government entities to ensure all applications and renewals are in order; Finance - Accounts Payable, Billings and Collections, and Accounts Receivable using CMS; - Report into the overseas Financial Controller to provide local information; - Arrange payroll and provide information to the overseas Financial Controller; - Assist with preparing and maintenance with budget; General - Respond to general enquiries from internal and external contacts; - Provide back-up support to the Secretarial team and work collaboratively with the team at large. Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role: - A degree or qualifitcation in Business Administration, Accounting, or Legal Services; - Previous experience of working in a similar role within a legal services organisation - Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects; - Sound knowledge of accounting practices; - Strong IT skills; - Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; - A strong sense of diplomacy and confidentiality.
