Responsible for the overall management, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Responsible for establishing partnerships within the designated areas of responsibility, across functions and business partners, to support achievement of targets and alignment of functional objectives Functional and Technical Duties: • Provide day to day management and coordination of assigned project(s) • Manage a portfolio of projects to support the overall PMO strategy including projects involving more than one function and taking pilots to large scale roll out. • Formalize and implement the process of ordering, execution and acceptance of the services highlighted in the assigned project. • Lead the process of the procurement by providing Scope of Works and/or other materials as required for implementation. (Preparing the schedules of procurement and follow-up on requests). • Manage the process of the outsourcing function(s) of both machinery and labor if shortage occurs. • Provide periodic reports and ensure proper documentation in place to track all project metrics. • Implement quality management tools to ensure effective project execution results. • Plan & manage project evaluation. • Be the focal point of communication for assigned Projects for Stakeholders and 3rd Parties. • Liaise with peers to ensure all projects comply with PMO’s requirements. • Manage the stakeholder satisfaction function. • Expedite Project deadlines and milestones and be the focal point for problem resolution. Academic and Professional Qualification Bachelor Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or similar Master in Logistics/Project Management/Supply chain/Business Administration is an advantage Professional Project Management Qualification desirable (e.g. Six Sigma/PRINCE2/PMP) Experience in engineering consultancy services Experience in implementing high value projects and ventures. (Civil / Mechanical Engineering desirable) Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines using problem-solving capabilities. Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Adaptable, Pragmatic, Persuasive, Encouraging and Motivational – leads by example. Ability to adapt communication style to suit audiences from a broad spectrum of disciplines. Strong written and oral communications skills. Strong PC skills: (MS Excel, MS Project, Word, Access, PPT) Strong interpersonal skills.
