Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for Lead Process Engineers to work in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities: • Leads a team of Sr. Engineers, Engineers and Designers in the execution of the full range of engineering works for a project or projects within the Process and Safety discipline. • Supervises and approves all aspects of the discipline area subject matter. Education and Skills: • BS Eng or equivalent Chemical Engineering Degree from an accredited University. • Minimum 12-15 years process design experience in engineering consultancy or EPC Company within the oil & gas industry in a professional technical capacity involving specification, design, planning, checking. • Must have worked at least 5 years as a senior process engineer, supervising and guiding a team of engineers and designers. • Must possess a thorough knowledge of industry practices, tools, codes and standards as applicable to the process engineering. Tool knowledge must be hands-on, expert user level. • Must possess a strong working knowledge of upstream and downstream oil & gas and/or petrochemical units and operating principles. Other industry specific knowledge may be acceptable on a location-by-location basis. • Should demonstrate engineering leadership ambitions through completion of additional training in leadership, management and/or project management. • Site construction and commissioning experience is an advantage. • Preferably with Methanol Refinery and Saudi experience.
