We are looking for a forward thinking and confident Facilities & Safety Supervisor to maintain and develop our security and health and safety procedures within our busy publishing office. As a supervisory role, the ideal candidate should have strong motivational skills and have experience leading a small team. Other duties include but are not restricted to: regular building checks, dealing with emergency alarms, risk assessment, investigation reporting, first aid and fire warden management, developing solid relationships with facilities management, our landlord, Civil Defence and other relevant stakeholders. The applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a firm and professional manner, a willingness to work shifts and cover during times of annual leave/sickness, the ability to remain calm in high pressure situations and be of professional presentation. - 2 – 3 years experience in a supervisory role - Experience in health and safety issues and security - Computer Literacy Desired: - Driving Licence - First Aid Certificate - Civil Defence requirements and/or local health and safety law knowledge Qualifications - Educated to high school level or above ITP was founded in 1987 in the UK, and won The Queen's Award for Export Achievement in 1995.
