Our eMDedding in the Al Futtaim Group results in us providing wide ranging capabilities extending to: * Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance * Warehousing and Contract Logistics * Goods Transportation and Distribution * People Transportation We are currently looking to recruit an experiencedA Team Leader - Air FreightA toA oversee ourA ImportA TeamA within Al Futtaim Logistics.A  The role will be based from our busy Jebel Ali site and will report into the Air Freight Manager. A The main purpose of this role is to liaise with Origin offices / Agent offices worldwide and thereby providing services and customs clearance for door delivery of shipments alongside the efficient handling of key accounts whilst handling cross trade export movements. It is the responsibility of theA Team Leader - Air FreightA to efficiently handle the complete Import operations; toA build and maintain the relationship with Carriers, GHAsA and Authorities; toA  supervise the Airfreight Import operations team and ensure all jobs are closed on timeA along with the development of existing client accounts and customer visits whilst maintaining efficient customer service across the board.A A  Client relationshipsA are a priority for this role and therefore building and maintaining relationships is essential.A  A requirement of this position is to report on performance. Therefore the role holder will consistently evaluate import performance to optimise efforts and to identify areas for improvement.A To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate and will have a minimum of 6 - 8 years' experience in the Air Freight / Airline industry, preferably with 2 - 3 years within the role of Air Freight Team Leader.A  It is essential that you have a strong commercial awareness of the Freight import industry.A  This role involves an element of local travel and therefore a driving licence is essential. As relationship management is a key requirement for this position it is expected that you will haveA excellent interpersonal skillsA with the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues of varying levels.A  You will act as the face of the company and therefore will have a proactive, professional and presentable nature.
