Contracts Manager - Stadiums, Doha, Qatar One of the leading construction firms is looking to invest in Chartered Contracts Manager with strong Stadium project experience. The role is based in Doha, Qatar and involves working on large stadium projects. The main responsibilities will include: - Supervise and manage performance of pre-post contract management and manage all the contract procedures - Identify any variations to contract that might impact the project and take necessary actions to ensure smooth running of the project - Lead a team of contract administrators - Liaise with project managers and advise on any contractual/legal matters - Represent the organization to clients - Communicate with clients to provide sufficient information on projects, such as progress and cost - In case of variations in contract, seek agreement - Manage procurement schedules - Monitor job costs and progress against budget - Select sub-contractors and ensure they receive enquiries and tender packages - Ensure required quality standards are achieved at minimum cost by overseeing methods and outputs - Ensure compliance with regulations and obtain client sign-off in case of any variation - Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience - A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying is essential (BSc) - Membership of a recognized International Professional Body (MRICS) - Must have previous experience in large Stadium projects - Experience in managing a team - Experienced user of project management software - Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC.
