• Support delivery and implementation of the global category contracts across the MENA region and challenge the use of other suppliers to ensure best value for money • Review spend data analysis and create spend reports and work with other procurement managers across the region to compile overall regional spend analysis • Perform market analysis and advise which spend categories to tender • Tendering spend onto long term contracts and consolidating across the region wherever possible • Support country operational teams through corporate procurement tender exercise • Review draft contracts to ensure all terms and conditions are in line with company standards • Identify and record lessons learned after each tender exercise and ensure actions are in place for new tender processes for continuous improvement • Ensure that corporate procurement policy is implemented in the respective procurement centres • Approve country requests to set up new vendors by assessing against the existing PSL • Ensure that master data for vendors, material groups, purchasing groups and SAP users are regularly reviewed and updated • Perform quarterly supplier surveys and communicate findings • Conduct bi-annual ‘value for money’ reviews and implement improvement where needed • Monitor and ensure compliance of all procurement centre activities with corporate policy and escalate issues if necessary • Perform Line Management duties for the relevant procurement centre • Minimum University Degree and qualified member of CIPS is an advantage • 5+ years of relevant work experience within a similar position (corporate procurement) • Previous experience managing a team is essential • Managing complex tenders • Previous experience optimising the P2P process • Manage finance and resources, monitor and control an agreed budget within a defined area • Fluent English (verbal and written) • Strong communication, leadership and management skills • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and deliver according to deadlines • Already based in the UAE Michael Page is one of the world\'s leading professional recruitment consultancies, specializing in the placement of candidates in permanent, contract, temporary and interim positions with clients around the world.
