- Managing product POs (category: raw materials and finished goods) - Developing effective sourcing strategies - Analysing and evaluating structures and change in dynamics of the global supply markets of category spend to ensure that supply strategies are optimal in meeting the needs of the business - Manage the suppler performance standards of contractors and suppliers across the business - Identify effective opportunities that will ultimately increase the leverage position through the identification of collaboration opportunities through effective contracting - Managing continuous supply market research and participate in due diligence activities when necessary to ensure the business has access to the best providers in the Global Supply Market - Minimum degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management - At least 5 years of experience in procurement within the steel industry - Knowledge in souring of direct materials (raw materials and finished goods) - Ability to interpret complex international contracts and supply data - IT skills: SAP and/or Oracle, and strong Excel skills is essential - Fluent English and Arabic (verbal and written) - Very strong analytical skills Michael Page is one of the world\'s leading professional recruitment consultancies, specializing in the placement of candidates in permanent, contract, temporary and interim positions with clients around the world.
