Develops implements and oversees strategic corporate communications programs for building and maintaining excellent relationships between Advanced and its major shareholders and the public at large. Develops specific programs/media for educating and updating investors/public about the company to achieve a fair relative stock value. Organizes and coordinate all the Board and Shareholders meetings. Liaises with CMA and Ministry of Commerce. Prepares news releases for Executive President’s approval and distribute them to various media for publication. Corporate Branding • Develop and maintain communication strategy and policies of ‘Advanced’ • Define corporate media and advertising strategy, plan, and budget • Plan and manage corporate advertising and brand management strategy, policies and guidelines • Create, launch and drive corporate brand and manage trademark • Support Operating units media and advertising campaigns and ensure alignment with corporate brand image • Design and administer brochures, calendars, agendas, and planners • Monitor perception of corporate brand • Facilitate the development of Advanced community relationship strategy and support Advanced in meeting Corporate Social responsibility Internal Communication • Prepare monthly team briefing to communicate key external and internal information, developments and decisions to all staff and to enable feedback/ comment from staff • Manage internal communication with Advanced employees (on corporate values, reward recipients, deceases, etc.) • Prepare monthly team briefing writing, publishing and follow-up • Prepare and disseminate daily news intranet report External Relations • Maintain contacts with the press and other media to advance corporate interest and extend the basis for contacts with government and the public • Coordinate media buying and manage agency relationships • Conduct website editing and update • Prepare and distribute publications (newsletter, Annual Report, Information Digest) • Aid Board, Executive Committee, and senior management in managing investor relations Government Relations • Ensure assessment and evaluation of information and issues related to national policies and regulations (including licensing, trademarks, etc.) • Collect and verify information and provide proper responses to government bodies • Establish and maintain contacts with the government Event Management • Directs the development of event management policies and guidelines and production of detailed proposals for events including timelines, venues, budgets, suppliers, legal obligations, etc. and identification and securing speakers and or special guests • Directs the effective organization, preparation and coordination, as necessary, of activities such as trips, guests’ tours, sports tournaments, conference, exhibitions, special ceremonies etc • Oversees the post-event evaluation to gather lessons-leaned and introduce improvements for future events Cost Control Monitors the financial performance of the Public Relations department against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly with potential performance improvement opportunities capitalized upon Strategic Partners Identifies, establishes and manages relations with potential strategic partners and fulfillment agencies to uphold Advanced’s corporate image Departmental Policies & Procedures Develops and oversees the implementation of department policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Public Relations department activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are complied with People management Assists senior management in the effective achievement of functional objectives by setting section and individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and section performance. Education: Education: BS in Business Administration, Mass Media & Communication, Public Relation & Advertising. Knowledge of CMA and other financial regulations, Experience: 5 - 10 years’ experience in public relations, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability. Knowledge of marketing, finance, planning and corporate communication. ADVANCED was established as a joint stock company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 27th Shaban 1426H (Corresponding to 1 October 2005) to develop an integrated propane Dehydrogenation and Polypropylene complex in Jubail Industrial City comprising an area of 650,000 m2. The company produces 450,000 tons per annum of polypropylene. The company is utilizing proven technologies provided by ABB Lumus and Novolen Technology Holdings (NTH). The products are marketed locally and globally through approved partners with high quality packaging materials.
