Purpose: Develop the design to detail and to produce all necessary detailed construction drawings, diagrams specifications and schedules etc. to enable the building contractor to carry out the works to a satisfactory standard. Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan the design internal and external design; he then manages the work of turning the ideas into a reality. - He needs to design a space that is practical for its purpose as well as visually pleasing. - Projects can be broad in scope, ranging from structural alterations to the choice of furnishings, curtains, wallpaper and lighting, etc. - Respond as accurately and appropriately as possible to the client’s needs and requirements. - Attending regular meeting with clients, contractors and other specialists - To oversee the building contract and to monitor the work in terms of quality, progress and costs as closely as is reasonably possible. - To pay attention to environmental and sustainable issues and where possible to incorporate energy saving technologies into design specification. - Work in an industry/company designing new buildings, restoring and conserving old buildings and developing new ways of using existing buildings. - Graduate in 2 year course in Bachelor of Science in Architecture - 2 years experience in architectural Interior design. - Site Architect Engineer - Interior Designer/ Site Engineer - Visual Architect Engineer - Strong customer service and problem solving skills, including the ability to provide diligent, prompt and courteous responses to users’ and questions and technical issues. - Act as Consultant’s Representative in all project works if it is necessary.
