Major Retail Developer and Operator Excellent Package Based in Riyadh, KSA Tax Free Our client is a renowned retail developer and operator throughout Saudi Arabia. Due to continued ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Excellent & Events professional to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to the Digital & Marketing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: o Define our client’s shopper experience strategy and monitor its implementation across all malls o Ensure the training of qualified customer service staff to support superior shopper experience standards o Develop event strategies and plans across all malls and monitor their implementation o Assist in the development of the Digital & Marketing annual business plan, KPIs, budget, and policies and procedures o Ensure the development of customer service processes, policies, and procedures as per our client’s strategy and guidelines o Develop Customer Service strategy across all our client’s malls, including shopper experience standards and customer service staff requirements and training, and oversee their implementation by the regional and mall-level Customer Service teams o Ensure Quality Assurance audits are conducted periodically and results are shared with our client’s Management , with corrective actions implemented when necessary o Measure and evaluate effectiveness of developed initiatives and provide feedback to Head of Digital & Marketing o Develop the overall event strategy and evolve event processes and operations to optimize cost-effectiveness and the strategic value of events, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy & values o Develop all corporate and mall events plans from inception in coordination with Asset Management and Mall Managers and provide guidance to Regional Events Coordinators for execution o Manage relationships with the event coordinators hired to execute any event and ensure that events are conducted in a timely manner o Coordinate with PR & Communications and Branding & Marketing units for any advertisements and editorial in any relevant publications to ensure optimum event participation o Develop plans and back up activities to face any incidents that may occur during the execution of the events In order to be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have the following key skills and attributes: o Degree qualified (due to visa restrictions) in Marketing, Business Administration or economics o Additional certificates gained in Customer Services would be highly advantageous o 8+ years’ experience in customer service and/ or organizing footfall-generating events in the context of retail operations and shopping centers o Recent experience of motivating and leading teams o Experience in setting and managing expectations o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal o Effective leadership skills o Team Player o Attention to detail & high level of accuracy o Thoroughness and focus on big picture o Excellent command of Arabic Command MENA has been successfully partnering with clients and candidates since 2005.
