The candidate will be responsible for generating and maintaining sales efforts for the group’s catering business. He will also be responsible for spearheading our new business segment targeted towards health and fitness individuals. The candidate needs to be comfortable in targeting new areas as well as being tenacious and self-motivated. Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a must. The job requires great communication skills whether it is face to face, through phone or email. Performance will be driven and measured through KPI. ? Working closely with the Top Management in implementing the company’s strategic plan for growth and development of product and service offerings ? Ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients ? Responsible for driving revenue and building relationships with new & existing customers targeted at Hospitality, Educational and Corporate end user accounts. ? Meet with both key current and prospective clients, maintain relationships, negotiate contracts and close deals ? Research market, competitor’s policies, products, prices and provide market studies for potential business opportunities. ? Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts. ? Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. ? Cultivate customer accounts and travel within the local area to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the restaurant ? Support the Company’s growth objectives by achieving individual sales targets and KPI’s ? Be creative, resourceful and develop local initiatives to generate new sales ? Have the ability to prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals in excellent written English ? Identifying, sourcing, analyzing and synthesize critical information to develop business insights ? Conducting financial analysis, competitive analysis, and financial modeling of business opportunities ? Researching, developing, interpreting and preparing summaries on various financial, market, and competitive data to support ongoing operations ? Tracking competitor metrics and providing reports for advising on the results of analyses for the use in business planning decisions. ? Reporting economic and market share information to enable business development and strategy teams to make informed decisions ? Developing and Preparing of Feasibility studies, preparation of Business reports on regular basis to be submitted to the upper Management. • Bachelor’s degree • At least 7 years of experience in the restaurant/catering industry and knowledge of the local market • Strong negotiating skills, detailed contract experience and understanding a plus • Established relationships a plus. Need to have shown the ability to build strong relationships • Expert level skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to conduct complex financial models and professional power point presentations • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; • Strong project management skills with the ability to work well in teams, multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment • Arabic speaking is a plus Originally established in 1981, The Ghobash Group has become one of the region\'s most recognized trading and investment companies.
