• Participate in the development of IT audit plan.
As part of the IT Audit assignments, review the matters connected with:-
• support and strategic advice for the implementation of IT projects
• analysis and review process flow in order to verify the requirements for automation;
• IT infrastructure assets (hardware, software, networks, communication) required for the entity
• plan for knowledge transfer and capacity building involved in the automation process;
• IT security requirement for establishing a fully functional automated system;
• RFP for automation and training requirements
• Structuring of systems design by understanding and focusing on the core institutional needs coming from different stakeholders;
• Any other areas as mandated in IT Audit plans
• Prepare IT audit reports highlighting areas of risk and control and present results and recommendations. Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT/Engineering related discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering and Telecom Engineering; or related field.
• Master's degree in the related disciplines will be desirable.
• Professional certifications; Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification, ICCP Information Systems Analyst Certification, Certified PACS System Analyst Certification or equivalent.
Experience:
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Analyzing Information, Analyzing Requirements, Programming Skills, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements;
• Experience in business process modeling including documenting and analyzing functional procedures and workflows, business process reengineering and definition and evaluation of user requirements in the selection or development and implementations of IT systems;
• Work experience in managing projects with a preference in development and implementation of web-based or client-server based systems using any standard development tools;
• Proven ability to advise and train users in the use of complex systems/applications and related matters and effectively prepare Specification and other written reports/documentation in a clear and concise style. Ability to communicate with various levels of technical experience (developers, end-users, management and support staff);
• Competent in the following technologies: Java, .NET, ADO, JSP, HTML5, JavaScript, SQL Server and Oracle in a heterogeneous environment (Windows and Linux);
• Experience with PHP, Web services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, AJAX;
• Experience in Open-Source tools and software is an asset.
Language Requirements:
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable. A leading & reputable audit institution based in Qatar. |
