The Role
Marketing & Business Development Assistant
This role is to assist in the promotion, marketing and positioning of the Macro business in the Middle East including the preparation of bids.
Preparation of case studies and other marketing material such as brochures and capability sheets.
Format documents in InDesign.
Gathering contract information and creating draft press releases.
Assisting with planning, preparation, organisation and running of events.
Maintaining an up to date events diary.
Producing a monthly newsletter incl. sourcing articles.
Maintaining press clippings library.
Drafting articles for the company intranet.
Maintaining press list and dotmailer contacts list accurately.
Liaising with operational and support teams regarding PR and social media opportunities.
Assisting in the professional creation of leaflets and campaigns.
Assisting with the website.
Liaising with directors and senior managers to maintain the bidtracker.
Accurately updating the BMS regularly.
Assisting directors with RFPs and tenders and bids.
Researching and creating target & contact lists for BD purposes.
Assist in networking activities as required by management from time to time to promote the business and its service offer. Requirements:
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Excellent oral and written English.
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Effective time management and ability to prioritise.
Able to adopt an open collaborative team approach.
Experience in B2B and Marketing of Service Organisations is desirable
Experience with InDesign and/or Photoshop.
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing / Media / Communications or similar.
