Senior Electrical Design Engineer- Qatar - up to circa A£70,000 pa. Tax Free
An established Consultancy Company based in Doha is currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work at one of their clients, Qatar's leading healthcare provider.
The key purpose of this position will be to provide technical service to the client in all areas of Electrical works, during definition and execution stages, ensuring that designs are in compliance with the latest International codes, standards, National and Company requirements and procedures. Liaise with Project Engineers, other Discipline Engineers, Architects and End-Users, in order to develop cost effective and best practices design solutions, to suit Company's requirements. Contribute towards updating and enhancing internal discipline engineering codes, standards, specifications, procedures, strategies and philosophies and direct technician in production of technical documentations.
To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with professional membership of a recognized international institute.
In addition to this you must also meet the below pre-requisites:
-Ability to demonstrate significant healthcare experience
-Ability to demonstrate knowledge of HTM 06-01 and HTM 06-02
-Ability to demonstrate knowledge of BS7671, including Section 710 Medical Locations
-Ability to demonstrate awareness of associated HTM's such as Medical Gases and Water Quality
Applicants must also have a minimum of 12 years broad experience in medium to large building and infrastructure projects, covering the spectrum of design, installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical systems, ideally in the Middle East. Area of expertise should encompass Automatic Controls, Internal/External Lighting, Infrastructure Works, Small Power, Telecommunications, Fire Alarms etc.
The salary on offer for this role is A£70,000 pa. Tax Free in addition to this you will also get mobilisation flights.
