INPROTAC which is international institution that provide (translation & Interpretation) in all fields is seeking up to 20 skilled & highly qualified freelance translators & interpreters ( English & Arabic ) in all fields of translation & interpretation to join our friendly and professional team. Primary Accountability: • Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained; • Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used; • Using appropriate software for presentation and delivery; • Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation; • Liaising with Admin to discuss any unclear points; • Proofreading and editing final translated versions; • Providing a grammatically correct, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word-processed document; • Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process; • Prioritizing work to meet deadlines; • Consulting with experts in specialist areas; • Supplying subtitles for foreign films and television programmes; • Retaining and developing specialist knowledge on specialist areas of translation; • Following our translation-quality standard determined by our quality management to ensure legal and ethical obligations to the customer; • Networking and making contacts. • Using Translation Memory software - such as Wordfast, memoQ, across, SDL Trados, Transit NXT and across - to ensure consistency of translation within documents and aid efficiency; Qualifications & Requirements : • At least BA degree in translation or related . • At least three years of experience in translation with well known translation institution. • Complete knowledge of both source & target language (E to Arabic & vice versa ) • Must understand the diverse genres in both source & target verbal communication . • Write appropriately in both source & target languages . • Should be well aware of different styles of writing & moral of editing in both source & target languages . • Listening ability to understand & alertness to grasp various expressions ,idioms & specific vocabulary & their uses . • Should be well aware of diverse register s, styles of speaking and social stratification of both source & target languages . • Attentive of different knowledge –providing sources like bilingual dictionaries ,encyclopedias & how to utilize them. • Should know the sentences structure of indirect speech & different figure of speech in the source language .
