A significant part of this job is analytical, given the complexity of Acquiring business. This role has the responsibility to lead budgeting and forecasting exercise for Acquiring business, to monitor and analyze trends in KPIs of Acquiring Business, support financial impact analysis of new business proposals, support the build and review of product business cases, initiatives and monitoring progress thereof. Further, the role requires extensive involvement in strengthening the analytical capability through process improvements, automation, implementation of tracking mechanisms for KPIs, and building a comprehensive Acquiring database. This position needs to action the business requirement for a monthly merchant profitability, in place of a quarterly merchant profitability report, which is currently in place. Minimum Qualifications: MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant, with 5-6 years of finance experience in credit cards or payments industry or Finance experience within Retail banking. Minimum Experience: 3-5 Years Job-Specific Skills: Understanding of Acquiring business / Payment Industry / Credit cards, preferable with knowledge of Acquiring Business. Strong Analytical skills with a questioning mind. Generic Skills: Strong MS – Excel skills.
