As a Specialist/Information Systems Audit, the incumbent is expected to: • Supervise/Conduct IT & technical audit reviews of complex business application systems, large scale information technology infrastructure of telecommunication service providers; • Review the confidentiality , integrity and availability of accounting & operational data produced by the computer system and demonstrate the ability to relate information technology controls on corporation business processes; policies and procedures; • Use Computer Assisted Audit Techniques, specialized audit software such as ACL; • Extensive travelling to overseas locations (80%) to perform audits. The right candidate will have: • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings such as ambiguous and/or stressful situations; • Excellent report writing skills; • Supervisory capability to lead a team or people management skills; • Flexibility and the ability to change priorities quickly; • Critical thinking and analytical skills; • Effective time management skills; • Information technology skills in more than one core area i.e. Database, Applications, Operating System, Data Analysis, Network Security etc ; • Ability to work long hours to meet project targets. Experience Requirements: • 4-6 years of Information Systems audit in a large commercial firm (preferably Telecom service provider) or big 5 professional firm out of which at least 2 years shall be at supervisory level; • Additional experience in either as an Accountant or a Systems Analyst would be an advantage. Educational/Certification Requirements: • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Computer Science; • Certified Information Systems Auditor : CISA – USA (Must Have Qualification); • Professional accounting qualification or any additional information systems qualification would be an added advantage. Preferred Formal Training Requirements: • Security, Audit and Control of Oracle/SQL Databases; • Security Audit and Control of Unix and Windows Operating systems; • Information System development methodology and controls; • Business Application Controls preferably in telecommunication industry • Information security and Networking technology; • Knowledge of Java/C++ programming language.
