Our client, a leading company in the UAE is looking to hire a Procurement Team Leader to join their growing team in Dubai. As a Procurement Team Leader, you will be responsible for management of the procurement team and high value technically complex agreements. Coordinate and control the sourcing, purchasing and inventory control in support of company. Ensure maximum value is derived from purchase expenditure, ensuring continuity of supply while minimizing inventory investment. Responsible for procurement strategy, developing & executing price agreements, consolidation of procurement processes and buying techniques, ensuring agreed KPIs are met. To qualify for this role, you should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree, more than 10 years’ purchasing experience in the oil and gas industry, at least 7’ years' experience in a similar role and similar sized organization, more than 3 years’ in a supervisory role; and membership to a certified Purchasing/Supply Chain preferred. You are also expected to be a firm negotiator with an excellent knowledge of suppliers’ market; outstanding team management skills; and highly effective interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written English communication skills, plus superb MS Office skills and Oracle proficiency.
