Based in Al Ain within the Emirati leather goods factory, this role is ideal for Accountants who have experience within stock and inventory management. Our client is renowned for high quality manufacturing of leather goods that are produced within the local area. They are also part of a larger group of companies with a diverse portfolio. As part of the Finance team you will be responsible for maintaining inventory procedures and participating in regular stock checks at the factory, reporting any concerns to the management team. You will also monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is adequate and appropriate to the needs of the factory orders. Daily liaison with the factory supervisors and managers is expected to monitor up and coming requirements and provide regular inventory and consumption reports. The Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring costs are monitored and implemented onto the system accurately and invoices are matched and handled in a timely manner. The successful candidate will hold a Finance degree and be experienced within stock and inventory management, preferably within a similar industry. You will be comfortable working in a factory environment and be able to produce regular inventory reports and make recommendations to peers and senior members of the Finance team. This position is a great opportunity to implement new procedures and ideas and work as part of a well organized Finance team.
