Our client is seeking candidates from a fashion retail environment who are seeking their next step into a head office function. The company provides hand made, locally sourced leather goods and accessories and has several retail outlets and factories across the UAE and the Middle East. Their products can also be found in some of the high end department stores within the region. Due to growth plans over the next 2 years they now require an administrator to assist the admin team handling all the reports and communications with the showrooms and their respective sales teams. You will be expected to liaise daily with the stores and prepare reports concerning sales figures, stock control, visual merchandising, new promotions and product lines. You will also be involved in team meetings regarding product plans for seasonal promotions including Ramadan, Eid, Shopping festivals and regional promotions and holiday periods. You will also liaise with several of the head office departments including Sales and Marketing, Warehouse and Factories and Finance teams to collate and prepare information for the stores and internal meetings. You will therefore need to poses good skills with all MS office packages including excel and some PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be from a fashion retail background and have an excellent telephone manner to liaise with all staff in the showrooms. You should be able to build rapport with others quickly and have excellent English written, reading and speaking skills.
