Hindi speaking is essential for this role. Our client is a plastic extrusion company based in Abu Dhabi, which belongs to part of a wider group. The offices are based at the factory where there is a large amount of blue collar workers employed who all speak Hindi as their native language. The office will act as a satellite location to the corporate head office based in the center of Abu Dhabi. This role will therefore represent the overall HR strategic and training plan of the company. There are development plans underway throughout to implement customer, staff and internal standards and you will be part of the growth of these plans. Initially you will perform a skills assessment with the HR team to begin to asses what is required at the factory to benefit both the end customer and the business. Training will be devised and implemented with the guidance of the HR Manager, but it will be your role at the factory to assess its feedback and effectiveness on a day to day basis. You will need to be a strong character to handle the factory team and to motivate others to implement the new training methods and procedures. Once all training is in place it is expected to be an ongoing process where quality assurance and training become regularly reviewed and part of the normal HR function. This role also acts as a HR support to the factory team regarding all procedures, policies and employee guidance and query handling. You will also be expected to maintain all records on the ERP system. Experience is essential for this role and a qualification in HR or a similar subject such as Business Management and Administration is also required. Prior experience of implementing training for blue collar workers is a distinct advantage and those candidates that have worked towards ISO and QA standards are encouraged to apply.
