Our client is a leading Dubai based semi government organisation who is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their corporate headquarters on a permanent basis. The key responsibilities of this role are to perform accounting work according to standard accounting principles, established procedures, company guidelines and regulatory requirements applicable to work. You will also have responsibility to manage the entire financial and accounting activities independently up to the issue of financial statements, government reporting and audit. Applications are sought from those with 10 years plus relevant experience in financial and management accounting. You will also have 5 years plus related work experience in the oil and gas industry or industrial sector. Audit experience is advantageous and it is essential to have worked on Oracle. You must have a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CMA. This needs to be fully completed and certified. You will ideally be Degree educated in Finance/Business and experience in multinational environments such as Europe/North America will be highly advantageous. Candidates must be in the UAE to be considered. A leading recruitment agency in UAE.
