Job Responsibilities: As a primary DBA on a daily basis reviewed and resolved backup issues. Installed, maintained and upgraded SQL Server binaries, instances and databases. Migrated, refreshed databases, handled database failovers and recoveries. Supported database structure changes and data changes for Application development, testing and deployment. Supported SQL Server High Availability solutions like mirrored databases and clustered environments. Installed/Upgraded and Configured SQL Server for SQL 2012, 2008 R2, 2008, and 2005 for standalone and cluster environment (active/active, active/passive).Tuning and providing 24x7 dedicated support to all Production, development and clustered servers. Creation of reports for various business needs Experience with Fleet Focus – Asset Works Experience with ITSM like BMC or Axios / Assyst Required Skills: Proven experience with Windows systems Practical development or scripting experience using VBScript, JavaScript and/or equivalents Strong experience with Java based applications and JBOSS Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Database. Full DBA skills are needed  Practical experience with integrations (i.e Active Directory, Mail, Alert and Systems Management) Experienced user of Report Writing products Experience with HTML development Required Qualifications & Experience : Computing degree (BSc, MSc), or equivalent programming/system design experience 5+ years working in the IT services/consulting industry with Enterprise level applications Good understanding of coding standards and software version control Experienced user of a Service Management/Service Desk product such as assyst, BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager etc MS SQL/ITSM Certifications Originally established in 1981, The Ghobash Group has become one of the region\'s most recognized trading and investment companies.
