"Supervise and lead Root Cause Analysis of plant equipment failures; with the objective of increasing unit efficiency, reliability, availability, and maintainability. Jobholder is reporting to the Reliability & Asset Management Manager. The jobholder is responsible for the effective RCA implementation in designated plant equipment. The jobholder’s biggest challenge is constantly increasing plant availability; with increased efficiency; and ensuring a high level of performance." KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Failure Analyses: §  Conduct RCA workshops §  Provide RCA technical support §  Conduct RCA training §  Capture & distribute best practices §  Establish & update workflow & procedures §  Provide guidelines for RCA auditing process §  Prepares and reviews reports on major outages, abnormalities and major equipment history. §  Prepare monthly report on effectiveness of corrective actions §  Keeps abreast of new trends and developments in the GTG/HRSG unit control systems. Apply and implement technical modifications in the existing design to enhance operation parameters. §  Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of maintenance activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers. §  Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of maintenance activity to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Minimum Qualifications: §  University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum Experience: §  5 - 7 years’ experience working in a Maintenance/Reliability Department within a large industrial organisation. §  3 - 5 years’ experience in conducting RCA.
