Primarily responsible for design, implement, track & report execution of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for top talents and Career Development Plans (CDPs) for high potentials in line with the Group’s business and growth strategies.
The candidate is also tasked for effective deployment & reporting of strategies, processes, systems and tools related to IDPs & CDPs.
- Works with the Head of TM in designing and implementing various TM initiatives in the areas of IDPs & CDPs based on the Group’s staff development and leadership strategy.
- Develops, implements & enhances IDP and CDP initiatives that contribute to attraction, development & retention of talent & high potential, and thereby facilitate the achievement of shareholder/ financial objectives.
- Contributes in design & development of an organization-wide assessment strategy to identify top talent and high potential individuals.
- IDPs addressing leadership/managerial competency gaps and preparing them for senior roles as part of systematic succession planning.
- CDPs addressing Career Development Planning (including Career Progression / Path) addressing competency / skills and ability gaps, and preparing them to assume higher roles & responsibilities across the Group.
- Explores opportunities for enhancements in IDPs & CDPs process, tools etc., career development, and coaching & mentorship program. Benchmarks best practices in IDP & CDP initiatives and recommends / implements enhancements in approach, process, tools and techniques to achieve organizational & business objectives.
- Develops functional competency framework that reflect a continuous progression of key attributes, behaviors, knowledge, and skills required for successful performance as staff grow from individual contributor roles to people leaders (tactical to strategic roles).
- Prepares and implements career development & progression paths for identified positions including competency requirements. Identifies opportunities to recommend internal movements and promotions of talent & high potentials. - University graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- CIPD Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 to 7 years experience in HR preferably with a Gulf entailing responsibilities of Talent Development; IDPs, Career Planning and Development.
- BPS Level A & B Certifications on SHL tools
- Planning and Organizing skills
- Advanced level Communication and Presentation skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Advanced level of Interpersonal, Negotiation and Coaching skills.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Effective Program & Project Management
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to motivate and work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Advanced level in MS Office especially MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
