We are currently looking for a full time Director of Security for a modern and fully equipped hospital in Dubai.
The Hospital is a 143 bed, acute care, general medical/surgical hospital whose mission is to provide high quality American standard healthcare that will meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the people of Dubai, the UAE and the surrounding Gulf States.

Key Responsibilities:
- The Director of Security will be responsible for overseeing and the management of all day-to-day security operations of the hospital.
- Reports to the CEO and coordinates with the Facilities Management Department on aspects of security relating to Hospital.
- Monitors the Security Department operations to ensure safety and security for Hospital Patients, Staff, High Profile Clients and Visitors.
- Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures in line with Hospital standards.
- Maintains and updates policies and procedures pertaining to security of the facility in line with Hospital standards.
- Responds to emergency situations and performs regular Security Risk Assessments.
- Develops, security, risk and healthcare safety audits for multiple sites.
- Studies any trends and incidents in the workplace that could have an impact on security, and implements preventive measures in consultation with relevant parties including the 3rd party security provider.
- Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations and provides direction and information to all the relevant parties, in addition prepares accurate evidence reports.
- Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to the CEO, or public safety authorities as appropriate.
- Responsible for the creation, implementation and standardization of security systems and procedures including but not limited to CCTV security system, hospital access control and duress alarm.
- Analyses evolving security requirements and recommends suitable security systems or technologies to ensure the effective protection of hospital facility and its personnel, patients and guests.
- Controls access to hospital sites by screening members, visitors and the hospital employees in a proficient manner in order to expedite their admittance to the facility while monitoring and preventing unapproved or unlawful entry. - A minimum of 3 years of Security experience at a Managerial level within the healthcare sector
- High school graduate or equivalent (BSc degree is highly favourable)
- Previous experience working in law enforcement, military, or emergency management. (Preferred but not essential)
