- Primary responsibility is to supervise the reconciliation of all the Banks and cash on daily basis to ensure daily cash position - Verifying day to day accounting transactions, Finalisation of accounts and consolidation of accounts. - Review Account Payable batch prepared by A/C Payable Accountant for the following ledger and sub ledger updating. - Review vendor activity to ensure all monthly invoices have been received and reconciled with vendor statement. - Review contract obligations to ensure all contract invoices have been posted and reconciled with customer statement. - Perform the operating cash account reconciliation and related journal entries - Co ordinate for processing and Review of all the Payments to vendors as initial approval. - Perform various account reconciliations and work to resolve any discrepancie - Perform the Preparation of various schedules for Month end supporting Cash,Bank,Loan, Prepayments, Guarantees and Fixed assets etc - Ensure the recording of Capital Expenditure and monthly depreciation in fixed asset module in timely manner - Verification of accounting data entered by the junior accountants. - Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies. - Verifying general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. - Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. - Help in completing external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors. - Assist with financial audits - Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls - Other duties as assigned. - Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance - Qualification – CA (or equivalent) - Experience – 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in Real estate) Al Barari is a secluded paradise that will offer a unique Dubai living experience.
