Job purpose • Assist Online Systems Manager in implementation and operations of Mobile App Solu-tions • Follow up with vendor developers for delivery of Apps • Responsible for the operations and support of Mobile Apps • Submit Apps to the relevant App stores and manage the various App store accounts • Manage 3rd party developers for delivery • Manage and document releases Key accountabilities • Rejection/Acceptance of mobile apps in various app store • Successful integration of the App with core IT systems through the integration layer • Resolution of app bugs • On time delivery of app sprints • Documentation of the operational procedures for App support • Vendor developer delivery Frameworks, boundaries and decision-making authority • Reporting to Online Systems Manager • Weekly alignment session with line manager Measurement criteria • Delivery of reliable App releases on time, and within budget • Robust operations and maintenance of core IT systems and services • Acceptance/rejection in App store Remuneration Negotiable on candidate’s experience and qualifications Education • Bachelor or Masters degree in telecommunications or IT degree. • Telecom experience is a plus • Additional training courses and seminars is a plus Professional qualification • At least 4 years of technical experience developing apps on various platforms (iOS/Android a must, Windows is a plus) • Track record of apps available on the App store that have been developed by the candi-date. • Knowledge of mobile network technologies is a plus • Work in an Agile development environment that enforces Scrum methodology. • Job description • Experience on IOS/Android native application development • Handle Web Services using JSON Parser, NSXML Parser and TouchXML • Experience with Google APIs. • Experience with Facebook API for Authentication, Wall Posts,Sharing,comments etc. • Experience with Audio/Video (AVFoundation & MPMoviePlayerController & Video Play back). • Experience with In-App Purchases is a plus. • Apple/Android Push Notifications. • SQL query knowledge is preferable • Java programming experience is a plus. • Integration Services and API experience. • Knowledge in ESB integration is a plus • Experience in managing supplier relationships is a plus • Experience Website development on HTML5. • .NET programming experience is a plus. • PMP/Prince2 is a plus Other skills • Possess a strong performance and results orientation • Able to apply high level analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and analysis skills • Creative, flexible, resilient and fun to work with • Possess a strong performance and results orientation • Fluent in English • Procedure documentation • Transforming business requirements into technical requirements We started out as 3 young ambitious guys frustrated with the small fish, big pond and battery farm approach to recruitment and resourcing.
