My client, an international fit out contractor focused on the high-end hotel market are looking for a Site Engineer to join their team. You will: · Report to the Project Manager. · Manage communication between all parties involved in development, where appropriate. · Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. · Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors. · Work within multi-national teams. · Ensure site complies within guidelines of health and safety and security. · Liaise with main and sub-contractors to ensure smooth completion of tasks and adherence to site regulations. · Quality Control of work done at site. · Act as the main technical adviser on site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives. MUST have a proven track record in the fit out of high-end hotel projects, preferably in the UAE Preferably also from a joinery background Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject. Able to work well within a team based environment. Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable. Be a multitasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Have good practical organization skills, planning of resources and program scheduling.
