This is an opportunity to join KEO in the role of Interior Designer to work on a Prestigious highrise mixed use development project
To Design, implement and refurbish spaces inside buildings in proper coordination with the architectural details and all other relevant disciplines, in order to achieve the maximum function, quality and aesthetic appearance of the space.
• Review contractor submittals including Interior/Architectural shop drawings, concept design, perspectives, materials, FF&E package, methods statements and technical documentation related to submittals to ensure compliance with specifications
• Work with all project engineers to ensure that the interior design works are fully coordinated with other aspects
• Attend meetings with end-user, client, designers, manufacturers, contractors and subcontractors in order to coordinate with all parties
• Prepare interior design reports and progress reports
• Attend workshop meetings for proper selection of materials, colours and finishes
• Visit suppliers' showroom to ensure submitted items comply with specifications
• Conduct site visits and supervision to ensure quality of work and issue SORs and NCRs when needed
• Prepare snag lists and follow up on snags to ensure contractor has taken appropriate action
• Inspect interior finishes, materials, furniture, accessories, coordinating with all parties on site
• Solve problems on site when required and respond contractor's RFIs • Creativity and imagination
• Design focused including details, colours
• Ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others
• Excellent communication skills
• Adept at AutoCAD
• Aware of latest suppliers, materials, fabrics, and finish
• work experience in a similar position preferable within the GCC
• Degree Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture/ Interior Design from Fine Arts or Applied Arts University
• English - knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
