International Commercial Stone Contracting Firm Competitive Salary Package Continued project growth of major commercial projects in New York, USA has created an exceptional opportunity as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with our client, an international commercial stone contracting firm from Canada with offices across Canada, the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Monaco, Italy and South East Asia. Following the recent award of numerous supply contracts, our client seeks to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the stone package for a major commercial refurbishment and extension project valued at $750M. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors, this role is responsible to: - Preparation of all specifications, tender documents and Bill of Quantities for stone contracting packages. - Commercial management and contract administration for project control. - Maximise value recovery and implement cost control and cash management. - Compile financial reports and agree Final Accounts including final payments and variations. - Process and resolve contractual claims. - Manage subcontract order documentation and accounts. - Degree in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or comparable experience. - A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying and estimating ideally within the stone contracting sector on high end commercial projects. Experience within the commercial interior fit out sector will also be considered. - The superior negotiator we seek will be commercially astute with a strong attention to detail. - Contracting or sub-contracting industry experience is required. An excellent salary package, with stable employment and exceptional projects, will be offered to attract suitable candidates to this role.
