An exciting opportunity for a high-energy and strategic Account Director to join an award winning Global PR Agency with a team of professionals delivering world-class account support to a diverse mix of technology clients.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has experience within consumer and/or enterprise technology sectors that could include: big data and analytics, digital marketing, gaming, e-commerce, health/medtech, mobile/telecom.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic planning
Campaign creation and management
Cultivating and enhancing relationships with key media, influencers and bloggers
Developing and implementing strategic and original PR campaigns
Presentation creation, and strategic media materials
Identifying publicity opportunities that uniquely align with client objectives, brand essence and goals
Managing and growing junior team members
Developing KPI’s and measurement metrics
Tracking/merchandising results
Provide client counsel on tactical matters, linked to strategic plans
Anticipate client needs and prepare in advance
Manage relationships with client partners
Develop and execute events and workshops for client
Participate in client meetings and planning sessions
Develop and edit client materials
Networking as a leader
Participating in new business opportunities Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 7 years of public relations agency experience, technology focus preferred
Strong media relations experience (technology, business, consumer)
Experience with B2C and B2B technology clients

Excellent time management and organization skills, with a reputation for flawless program management and execution
Exceptional client management skills
Strategic thinking and excellent writing skills
Ability to prioritize and execute against multiple clients and projects, including events, press material development and product launches

High level of comfort in contributing to new business, including networking, ideation, plan building and presenting
Strong understanding of how social media is driven by news media and vice versa, working knowledge of the main social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterst, Tumblr, etc.), and basic understanding of survey-based research and social media analytics.
