G4S is currently looking for Commissioning Engineers for Electronics Security Systems based in the UAE. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will join a multi cultural team of Engineers and Technicians to handle large and small Electronics Security Systems projects in association with the Project Managers / Engineers and Design Engineers. Responsibilities • Conducting site surveys, workout the required bill of material as required at site. • Support Design Engineers to prepare of technical offers and complete submissions within the time frame as per the requirement. • Work on post sales detailed engineering design and to get approvals from consultants, authorities and clients within the time frame agreed with client. • Interact with suppliers/OEM for technical input • Responsible for commissioning and handover the sites within the agreed time frame. • Responsible for technical discussions post order with clients and consultants • Conduct trainings. • Provide technical back up to sales – attend trade shows, follow up after sales calls/visits etc. • An Engineering degree/Diploma holder in Electrical or Electronics or equivalent • Minimum 5- 8 years experience with 2-5 years experience as commissioning engineer in Low Current Security Systems & Networking • Project execution/commissioning background with an understanding of detailed engineering of various security systems • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Low Current Systems like Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate barrier, Intruder Alarm System, Video Analytics… etc Must possess strong designing acumen & excellent Design abilities • Good working knowledge of MS office - Word, Excel, Power point, AutoCAD and MS Projects • Strong verbal and written English communication skills • Should have designing/ knowledge of IT infrastructure. • Have a pleasing personality, a hard worker G4S UAE is the largest and fastest growing total security solutions provider.
