: To manage and plan for all maintenance activities to ensure that mechanical, electrical and other technical equipment such as utilities, engineering systems as well as heavy and light equipment are in a proper working conditions. Duties & Responsibilities: 1- Develop and evaluate the department’s work plans by monitoring work flow as well as reviewing and evaluating work methods and procedures to serve the department’s goals and plans. 2- Lead the department’s work plans by providing directions and assigning work activities, projects and programs and by ensuring these are carried out In compliance with company rules, policies or instructions and that technical decisions are followed and applied. 3- Ensure the continuous availability of all equipment, tools and materials within the maintenance department through the effective management of technical resources and in coordination with other concerned entities. 4- Participate in all projects involving product enhancement and overcome obstacles of production lines. 5- Manage the implementation of new technological trends to add value into maintenance activities leading to achieve a higher level of quality and cost- efficiency 6- Ensure all equipment are fully operational and adequately maintained in order to provide uninterrupted services to the Company's entities in a professional environment to maximize efficiency. 7- Set instructions, guidelines, and quality specifications for maintenance and supervise the implementation of quality control activities to ensure meeting these specifications. 8- Monitor the costing system of the department. 9- Develop people, set their performance targets and objectives, conduct their progress reviews, and appraise their performance based on actual achievement against targets to drive engagement in contributing to the overall business objectives. 10- Carry out other managerial duties such as but not limited to conducting staff meetings, preparing periodic reports, proposing for plans and programs that will boost the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the department. • Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment, techniques and best practices. • Knowledgeable in standard administrative procedures and techniques, including planning, scheduling, training and budgetary control functions. • Knowledgeable in resources planning and utilization.
