Functional responsibilities: • Achieve and maintain certification to ISO18001 • Management and development of the Health & Safety policy and procedures and their effective communication throughout the organization. • Maintaining the HSE certifications as required by the municipality • Preparing the business for inspections as required by the municipality • Reporting of key HSE issues and metrics in support of the KPI Process. • Identifying and implementing root cause corrective action for key HSE violations and work place accidents/ incidents Leadership: • Leads the business in all maters relating to HSE • Leads the HSE team to deliver results to all stakeholders • Leads by example and promotes a high performance culture Legal obligations, compliance & risk management • Ensures Quality team operates within HSE regulations • Ensure the function has the required processes and policies to comply with legal requirements and company values • Ensures a functional risk management process is in place Qualifications/Experience Formal Qualifications: Degree or other applicable technical certification (i.e., NEBOSH) Key Competencies: • Able to work within a multi-cultural environment • Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal) • Sound working knowledge of industrial HSE management systems • Well organised with strong attention to detail • Reliable, conscientious • Results driven Premier Composite Technologies (PCT) was founded in 2006 with only five people in a small office in a rented factory in Dubai Investments Park and has since seen tremendous growth.
