Sales Supervisor - Toys R Us - Cairo, Egypt
We are seeking to hire a Sales Supervisor to ensure that sales floor is presentable in accordance with Principles standards. Ensuring that the sales team operates to the highest professional standards and company policies and customers are attended with utmost priority. Ascertaining that Department is managed effectively in relation to stocks, sales and staff. your job responsibilities will be including but not limited to the following :
- Ensure that customer’s expectations are met in highest professional standards and in consistent with the company policies.
- With an overall appreciation of the customer’s requirements, the job holder exercises effective approach and ensures that company policy towards customer service is achieved effectively. He ensures that customer’s demands are handled with professional efficiency which results in repeated visits by customers
- The JH ensures their presence as greeter at main entrance as per given schedule and also interacting with customers/collect customers feedback.
- Mystery shopping index of all showrooms within TRU should not be
- Less than 90% consistently.
- CSI rating should be at 85% & Customer Promise rating should be at 45.
- Ensure that sales target by Department is achieved. Ensuring Top Sellers available always and space allocations for merchandise is in line with sales.
- Job holder ensures to meet sale target for his Department by continuously monitoring product availability, displays, etc. The job holder also ensures that the space allocation is in line with sales of each category.
- To achieve section budget set every month and on YTD by FMEnsure that continuous product availability so as to ensure customers get a chance to choose from the entire range in offer. The job holder constantly reviews product availability on the shop floor and ensures complete product mix is available all the time. The job holder is responsible to interact with Buying & Inventory Control functions and to ensure customers specific requests are taken care on time.
- DM’s are full accountable and responsible to manage and monitor stock room at all interval
- Ensure that the sales team is accurately and timely informed of company profile, new lines in the business, promotional campaigns and related matters of the company. The job holder keeps informed of any developments regarding new lines, campaigns, company profile, customer service, etc and effectively passes on to the sales team. The job holder is responsible for staff awareness to deliver effective service to customers.
- To ensure that all DM's are conducting daily floor walks personally and that they follow up on points raised, and complete these before day close.
- Ensure that timely and efficient staff roaster is maintained to optimize man power utilization. The job holder is responsible for preparing and maintaining staff roaster to cover different shifts. The job holder ensures that the level of staffing is adequate enough to cover all activities on the shop floor as well as in the back office.
- Ascertaining that the sales floor is presentable with attractive merchandising methods in accordance with standards of Principles. The job holder constantly checks the shop floor and makes sure that it is presentable to create a pleasant and safe shopping atmosphere. The job holder ensures that new lines and key lines are prominently displayed to attract customer’s attention.
- Ensure that cash float is distributed and cash safe is maintained accurately. The job holder is responsible for cash handling and safe custody of cash collected while on duty. He is responsible for distributing cash float to cashiers
- Ensure that staff members are trained adequately. Ensure that product knowledge training is given to staff on all new arrivals and also ascertain that refresher courses are conducted periodically. The job holder implements necessary training for the staff and ensures that periodic refresher courses are conducted. The job holder is responsible for ensuring staff receive adequate training on new lines, health and safety, customer service, etc
- Ensure that staff members are competent and motivated to deliver effective service to customers. The job holder is responsible for motivating, training and development of staff - 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Good Interpersonal Skills , able to communicate fluently in English
- An ability to implement creative and imaginative approaches and identify new options for service development.
- Able to lead, Motivate and develop the team, give clear direction and feed back in order to improve performance.
