Senior Engineer - Capacity Management & International Services (Omani or GCC National) You will be responsible of analysing the capacity requirements and utilisation to establish long term capacity expansion plan for both local & International links, providing the International resiliency plans to ensure maximum availability, undertaking development and ensure the implementation of the AOP, managing and monitoring the transmission capacity utilisation, dimension and analysing current and future capacity requirement, designing and proposing the end to end capacity expansion plan. Capacity expansion implementation, planning and allocate the network resource to build up the transmission connectivity for daily business need, planning and allocating MIU capacity utilisation with international partners, planning and following ups the cutover activities, providing the design and solution for international services, promoting the international business capability by improving the network footprint in global business centre (i.e. set up the NNI with partners). Engaging in the business customer feasibilities and interaction with NOC to establish required transmission links, FOC performance verification and acceptance and involving in Ooredoo submarine cable deployment including the initial design from wet to dry part. You should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience with wide range of knowledge including SDH & OTN & MW &V-sat & IP/MPLS to be able to overview of network requirement for incoming years with 2 years’s experience of international business related transmission activities including technical deign and follow ups, familiar with IP, SDH and OTN technology and good understanding the trend of capacity requirement in data and voice services for upcoming years with a bachelor in electrical & telecommunication.
