Supply Chain and Planning Manager - Casual Dining - Kuwait
With more than 750 cafés, stores and restaurants the Alshaya Food division offers a range of roles for different hospitality backgrounds. Brands such as The Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, P.F. Chang's, Pizza Express and Shake Shack provide everything from quick service and casual up to fine dining. We launched many new brands in recent years and have exciting plans for 2015.
This role manages all aspects of the supply chain, maintaining systems for effective and accurate distribution, product compliance, forecasting, inventory and replenishment at all levels. You will monitor performance of the supply chain, develop budgets and ensure a timely and accurate information flow both inside and outside of the business.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing the stock and planning management systems
* Ensuring continuous and transparent feedback to the business
* Managing stock levels and inbound distribution
* Leading on supply chain development and new supply initiatives
* Coaching, developing and mentoring the supply chain team * At least 10 years' supply chain management experience
* At least 5 years' logistics or requirements planning management experience
* An advanced understanding of master data management and category planning methods
* Multi-brand, multi-market, multi-channel management experience
* High SKU count performance management experience.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a good understanding of food quality assurance and food distribution, as well as well as an outstanding track record of service standards. Experience with Asian, American, European and MENA supply chains is also desirable. M.H.
