Taylor Sterling is looking to hire an experienced Design Manager with a background in external building envelope projects (Cladding, roofing, rain screening etc). The role will manage an important design team for a Global First Tier Construction Contractor based in Abu Dhabi; it will be a very challenging and rewarding role for whoever takes it on. The Design Manager will need previous experience in Cladding, roofing, rain screening or similar external projects and have already worked at least a supervisory level in the past within a major Construction company. Design Managers Requirements: - Minimum 3 years Supervisory or management experience - A strong background with AutoCAD and previous roles such as CAD Technician etc. - Knowledge of commercial roofing and cladding systems - Qualified to at least HND level - Experience in BIM or 3D would be an added advantage Design Managers Role: - Oversee in-house design staff and also manage any sub-contract staff required - Create and plan Project Design Programme - Attend Design meetings with Main Contractors, clients and other members of company - Review designs before acceptance and release Taylor Sterling is as an independent search and selection recruitment firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
